Hannah steps into the bar, pausing in surprise. It's not English class, but she has absolutely no complaints about that.

Possibly even fewer than that.

Two minutes later she has coffee and the most out-of-the-way armchair she can find.

The coffee is, apparently, very interesting.

Mary Lennox has been in and out of Milliways a fair amount recently, but it's been a while since she actually stopped to get a milkshake from the bar.

Merriman had requested a glass of water from the bar, and along with the water the bar had also delivered a note, written in green ink on pink paper. So many of the flowers have gone back home, back to the soil to die, or to sleep until next year. But there are still a few left, some unwilling yet to give up. And so it is that Martha has a handful of flowers with her at her table where she sits, book in hand.

(And cookies close at hand, as well.)

The weather is not cooperating for ship repairs. Particularly when the area you have been working on is up in the rigging. (It is one thing to go up there when needed- only a fool goes up there when he does not.)

Here's somebody the bar hasn't seen in quite some time. But then, that tends to happen when a body is working two (two!) jobs and taking studies. Which would explain the book she has out in front of her, if not the chocolate milkshake.

The chocolate milkshake is just for fun.

As they always seem to, Ace's latest project has taken over one of the tables. The odd-looking bit of machinery she had lifted from an inappropriate owner a couple days ago is now in pieces and scattered. She's examining each in turn, trying to figure out how the whole thing works ( Read more... )
